Job Responsibilities
- Repairing flat roofs which includes:
- Filling in holes
- Repairing and replacing flashing
- Repairing anything where leaks occur
- Installing new roofs
- Measuring the dimensions of the roof
- Cutting the roofing materials
- Installing safety equipment
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Certification in roofing
- At least 18 years old
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation

Job Summary
- Job includes assisting roofers during the installation or repair of a flat commercial roof.
- Unloading materials
- Cleaning off roof
- Applying roofing material
- Job site clean up after job is complete.
Primary responsibilities
- Unload materials from truck and unroll roofing material.
- Clearing debris from roof.
- Ensure tar is chopped and heated.
- Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
- Apply layer of tar on roof.
- Apply tile, slate, or composition materials to roof.
- Locate and repair cracks
- Clear out gutters and drains.
- Affix metal sheets to roof boards or frameworks.
- Locate and fix leaks.
- Repair damage caused from storms and high winds.
